Acciona has taken steps following the conclusion of the E6 project in Trøndelag, ensuring that more than a hundred professionals have found new job opportunities on infrastructure projects worldwide.

When the project collaboration between Acciona and Nye Veier on E6 Ranheim-Værnes came to an end, Acciona was clear in its communication: All affected employees were to be offered new and secure job positions within the company.

"Acciona is proud to prioritize safety and professionalism in all our employment relations, and it was crucial for us to ensure that all employees affected in this project would receive new job opportunities and the chance for further development within the company. Today, we are proud to announce that over a hundred employees have been offered opportunities to continue their careers within Acciona," says Frank Skaufel, Senior Communications Advisor at Acciona.

Two individuals who have benefited from this opportunity are Alexandra Bukovska Jeviona and her husband, Martin Bukovsky. Both made a significant contribution to the E6 project and now work as project engineers on a large infrastructure project involving a new motorway in Bunbury, Australia.

"The E6 project in Trøndelag was both interesting and professionally enriching, and we collaborated with many skilled colleagues. It had a great ending where Acciona now offers us the opportunity to experience and work in Australia. We are very grateful for that," says Alexandra.

Over the past few months, the company has been working diligently to ensure a smooth transition for the employees, with more than 40 of them finding new internal opportunities within the company. They now hold key roles in significant infrastructure projects in several countries.

Skaufel is proud of and commends the excellent work done throughout the company to identify new job opportunities for affected employees.

"We have been committed to being a secure employer during an uncertain time for many employees. I am very pleased with the effort that has been put into ensuring that all affected employees now have the opportunity to assume safe and significant roles in other projects worldwide," says Skaufel.

Acciona is accustomed to continuously adapting to changing conditions in projects and the job market while ensuring safe and predictable employment opportunities for its staff. The company continues to seek opportunities for remaining affected employees and emphasizes its commitment to offering new job prospects to all employees working on the E6 project.
