    E6 Ranheim - Værnes Highway

Design and construction of 23 kilometres of four-lane highway

The project includes design and construction of 23 kilometres of four-lane highway along the existing E6 alignment.  Three tunnels will also be built parallel to the existing ones.

The route also includes eight bridges and three intersections. This new infrastructure will expand the road from two to four lanes, improving mobility in the northern part of Trøndelag county.

Construction work will begin in 2020 and is planned to be completed in 2025. Until it reopens, ACCIONA will also be responsible for traffic management needed for construction and the construction of temporary alternative routes to maintain the flow of traffic between Ranheim and Værnes.
